I'd like to introduce you to "Pete the Pinto", who was lovingly created to carry the heart of CLT Farms Equestrian Healing Center into story, ceremony, and adventure. Inspired by Chance—our real-life 20 year old gelding  whose gentle soul and playful spark have touched countless lives—Pete is more than a character. He’s a living tribute to the childlike wonder, spunk, and kindness that Chance radiates every day in the pasture.

With eyes wide to the world and a heart full of love, Pete embodies the spirit of a curious child: brave enough to ask big questions, tender enough to comfort a friend, and joyful enough to dance through the rain. His personality mirrors Chance’s—full of mischief and magic, yet grounded in compassion and care. Whether he’s nudging a book closer with his nose or galloping toward a new challenge, Pete reminds us that healing begins with trust, and trust begins with love.

Pete was created to journey alongside his friends—Valor the noble steed and Cadence the wise knight, Benny the Blanket loving donkey, Carabell the Cow, Lilly the gray lamb and other friends—as they walk the Path for Grace. Together, they face life’s lessons with courage, learning to lean on each other and trust in God’s plan. Every adventure is a parable in motion, every challenge a chance to grow in faith. Pete doesn’t just wear armor—he wears the mantle of hope, forged in the fires of friendship and divine purpose.

From the healing fields of CLT Farms to the pages of Pony Tales and Pete’s Path to Grace, Pete stands as a beacon for children and guests alike. He invites each soul to join him—not just in reading stories, but in living them.
